Kudo's
Best I've heard...

What I deal with is not a scared horse, He is intelligent, strong, and
full-of-himself. He likes to remind me not to take him for granted(sp??)
When he is tied to something that he knows he cannot break, he will not
pull back.

At 11 years old she had already learned that if she pulled back hard
enough,
something would break. There is NO WAY this horse could have been tied in
such a way that she couldn't hurt herself.
How did I train this mare to stand tied to a fence with the reins just
looped
over the rail? As funny as this may sound, I never tied her with anything
more than a loop or two of the lead rope over a metal hitching rail (so the

lead rope would slip off easily).
