boarding horses during Tevis question

I want to crew at the Tevis again this year (yup, for free, my own
gas, time etc...just for the JOY of it! :-) )

But, I want to bring my horse with me early in the week prior to
roam around and have fun etc. During the Tevis I'd like to board him
somewhere.

Anyone else ever do this before? Any suggestions on where to board?
Is this just plain impractical? Anyone planning to do this?
