anyone read the article on Erin and Cougar's Fete in Practical Horseman?
Kind of a hokey article but did mention how much her dressage background
helped her tho I'm kinda skeptical of sitting the trot on the trail as she
mentioned over uneven terrain. (Erin and Cougar's Fete won the Tevis twice
and the Haggin Cup for BC twice - quite an accomplishment to say the least!)

The other interesting thing she mentioned was no use of electrolytes (she
does offer free choice minerals/salt) - is she just on an incredible horse?
Or do you think it is true that if you are operating within your horse's
limits (and the horse is of course in good health, on good feed, hay, etc)
you can manage without electrolytes?
