Ride descriptions

I think that this would be a delightful idea, and one that I have
considered as part of a basis for a publication on competitive trail /
endurance riding in the northeast (Trailblazer and EN are decidedly
biased to the western riders, probably due to a larger population and
being the home offices of these organizations). I would be happy to
submit ride descriptions of rides I am familiar with in the northeast
(even though I am now an AERC Central person...)

NOTE: for interest of keeping things simple, I would recommend that the
organizing group for this task develop and agree on a standard format
for these descriptions -- free form "I had a great time" descriptions
are nice but not useful. We will certainly need to include:
(1) where - very basic directions; easy to get to?
(2) when
(3) typical weather
(4) Rig accomodations -- does one need a 4WD truck? Is that site
suitable for the big rigs?
(5) How many riders typically?
(6) Typical winning time
(7) trail conditions -- rock, mud, road, water availability

certainly this is not an exclusive list of items to include, but would
be information I would personally find very helpful.
