Laney(saddle pad)

Laney,

I had a horse who had barely been ridden, and his conformation was such that
he had one shoulder that was bunchier(higher) than the other. It made me crazy
because my Sharon Saare saddle that was made for him was fine...but his
shoulders were not the same on each side. So, Sharon came over and pointed out
the obvious, and she simply gave me a small piece of stuffed felt to sew on
the top of my pad...right where the one shoulder was lacking...and voila,
absolutely no more saddle slipping. It was great. I don't have this horse
anymore, and Sharon has the shim back, but I'm sure you could get it from her,
or you could make one for yourself.

The shim wasn't very big...maybe 4 inches by 1 inch and ....very
important...it needs to be beveled on all sides.

Any more questions on this and I'll be glad to help. Possibly I could get the
shim from Sharon, as she just lives around the corner from me.
