I just purchased the bood Endurance Riding From Beinning to Winning by Lew
Hollander and in it he states "signs of tiring include forging & interfering,
and indicate you should give him a breather."

At the risk of sounding foolish, exactly what is "forging and
interfering"????

I am finding this book to be a wealth of knowledge; however, can't imagine
trotting for 10 miles at a clip, if my horse could do it, I don't know if I
could! (smile)

We currently do distance pleasure and would like to grow to CTR and possibly
endurance so any information on this issue particularly would be appreciated.
