I once bought a McClellan saddle for my Paso Fino, and rode in it every
day, 3 to 4 hours a day, for a month. By that time, my horse needed
constant prodding just to walk! I stopped using the saddle (which I
loved), and my horse immediately became much more willing to move out.
It turned out that the back of the saddle dug into his back. Your saddle
must have a more universal tree than the one I had.
