Yep - and if you are soooo worried about your placing that having the P
taken again is gonna mess it up then you oughtta train so that the
recoveries are right on and then ride to that training -not blame the PR folks.

Is going in when your horse isn't down common? Perhaps what we are seeing is
riders trying to ride a little faster than they should be and being "caught"
by their horse's recoveries or lack thereof - you think? Oh, surely not <she
says with dripping sarcasm>

At the OD last year you were penalized 10 minutes on your out time each time
you presented before your horse was down - ouch! What - your horse was just
down and came back up on the walk over? Tough S**t - 10 minutes. Don't think
many folks presented till they were _sure_ the animal was under.

Do other large rides do this?
