In regards to the posts from Sam and Kim up here there are very few riders who
do both endurance or CTRs that won't go out of their way to help anyone. Those
that chose to be unfriendly and uninformative usually have a reason. They want
that @#*#@ blue ribbon. That's what we get for doing well in a ride. I've
watched people trot out after a ride and purposely trippd so they would look
lame not their horse! They are the minority and the majority is warm, reseptive
and couldn't be nicer. We have juniors that have entered a ride and need someone
to hang out with. Yes I know they shouldn't be in unless they can handle the
situation but...We all pitch in and it makes for a great day at the races! Isn't
that what this whole sport is about?? I've said this before and I'd like to say
it again. Horse people are a very special bred and I'm so glad to be a part of
it's growth. Those with PMS attitudes are just part of the fertilizer! Be safe
and take care. Thanks for letting my $.02 be said. SEE YA REGGIE
