Tracy,

Just thought I would let you know what I use on my Mustangs. I put the
Equithotics, "Sneakers for Horses" , on in front and plain, wide web
steel shoes on the back. Depending upon the terrain I'm facing I may
have the hind shoes put on with full pads. I have also had borium studs
added in the heels for better traction, especially on roads. The
Equithotics provide much better tendon support in the front and are very
good at shock absorbtion. Roger R. uses them, I know. I noticed that my
horses windpuffs disappeared after I started using the shoes. Not
cheap, currently they run around $50 per pair, but I get at least 1
reset from a pair of shoes so the cost works out. They have a web page
up that can be accessed from the Enduance Riders Homepage.

Any questions or comments you have I will be happy to respond to.
