Out of courtesy, one should ALWAYS ask to use someone else's crew stuff. I
have found most people gladly give you and your horse food and water,
especially if you have no crew. I try to find someone who will at least
carry my stuuf to vet-checks, but when all else fails, I find endurance
riders most gracious..let's not abuse this by forgetting to ask or to give
thanks.
