hmmmm. This is an interesting subject in regards to the UAE>
I think we have to remember horses do die in this sport, even in the US.
There are top riders in the US that have killed many horses. There are
riders who have won National championships that have had horses drop dead
under neath them at rides.
We must remember that "PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN GLASS HOUSES SHOULD NOT THROW
STONES'.
If we are going to condem the Arabs, we must also take a look at ourselves.
The Arabs are still learning about the sport and I know horses have died in
the past but when we first started endurance, over 40 years ago, alot of
horses died then, also. Our vets have gotten stricter and more knowledgable.
Since I personally know, several trainers for the Shieks, I can say that they
have come a long way.
