Sacking out/hobble stories

Jacqueline and others,
You are so right about each horse being different! Some methods work with
one horse and are a miserable failure with another! Gaining the trust is a
big part with some horses, some could care less. I have trained a lot of
horses in my day, and I find Arabs to be a little different...hmm..you have
to ask an Arab, not tell it...
About sacking out..the reason I DIDN'T explain tying of a leg because I
didn't want yall to try it! It is very dangerous and has to be done
precisely right. And, like someone else suggested, as a last resort on a
dangerous situation, like two kickers I have had. I should not have
mentioned it, as your situation would not warrant it!

I would like to hear stories of everyone's experiences on teaching (or
trying to teach!) your horse to hobble!
