Hi - I am here in the Ozarks and started endurance in 1985. At that time
they were giving out certificates. I liked it and started a neat
notebook of my "successes" (finishes!)

About the time the notebook was going good, they changed to awarding ride
patches. It messed up my notebook plan but was okay because I started a
wall hanger for my trailer with them - and I can live with a change.

But that only lasted a few years. Next was tshirts with the ride name on
it. Okay, pretty neat except I hated to wear 'em and get them muddy -
but I can live with change.

Now it's nifty little miscellaneous items and they ARE generally useful.
But for completion awards, I'd like something with the ride name/logo on
it; something something I can keep without cluttering space; something
for remembering several years down the road; I'd like a nifty
certificate.

"...enjoy the ride...!"

PS - And with the cost of everything going up - completion certificates
would either REDUCE costs for the manager and/or free up money for nicer
placing and BC awards.
