Ride management can (and usually do) start the various distances at
different times. A rider who elects to start later than the official
start of a ride must still finish within the time limit based on the
official starting time. That is, if you leave one hour late on a fifty
mile ride you are leaving yourself only eleven hours to finish. If the
ride has closing times for vet checks, you would have one hour less
riding time to make the first check.
