1.) saves me the entry fee. I'd rather donate something to the ride. (which I
do)
2.) since I never (I mean NEVER) get lost and am excellent at reading maps
and trails, I can drag ride and provide a service to ride managementand
riders as well.
3.) I still get miles of training on my horse and get to enjoy the trails as
well.
4.) I can quit when necessary...no pressure to not "waste" the entry fee.
5.) I am a GREAT "lost and found" department.
