Nope. I feel that way, too, if it is a heritable trait. It
particularly kills me to see horses with navicular retired for breeding,
though I'm not sure the scientists have entirely pinned it down as
heritable, I sure think it is.

----Our of curiosity, has anyone ever had an Arab with navicular?
My farier said in 30 years shoeing, he has never come across it
in Arabs.
