The posts have been mentioning that horses are being imported to Saudi
Arabia
from the U.S. Actually these horses are going to the United Arab Emirates
(Dubai and Abu Dhabi). This is where the short distance "endurance" races
are being held. Sheik Mohammed, who has imported a number of U.S. horses,
and who rode in the World Championship in Kansas, is from Dubai.<<
Couldn't resist this one...This same Sheik Mohammed is the one who overrode
the McAfees' horse at the World, left it on trail for treatment and walked
away....as an afterword..this same horse has just been leased ($20,000) to
the UAE for short big money races over there. Can anyone blame me for saying
money corrupts???
