The mail I got privately and publicly seemed to support the use of the
Sport Saddle by HW rider IF the rider rode very correctly. I have a
friend who is a HW for whom I was leery of recommending the saddle, but
her posture and technique is excellent. My informal survey results
indicated that it wasn't so much a question of whether or not the saddle
would hold up, but whether the horse would, since the weight
distribution is not as ideal as with a saddle with a tree. It seemed to
be a concensus to use one of the high performance pad with foam inserts
in order to form more of a gullet and help with the weight distrib.
