Karen:
The new pads will be made by Toklat. They will have the same equalizer
inserts, however, we are having them made so the pads are reversible. The
strap on the flap will flip around to either side. The wool on the Toklat
pads (Janeen and I feel) is a better quality. We are also making the new
pads to accommodate the saddles with the peaked pommels - riders complained
about not having enough flap on the pad to cover the entire area. The pads
will be available in woolback and coolback so you can get them in colors.
Also, with the velcro openings you can use the same equalizer inserts. I
really like the idea of being able to reverse the pad and get twice the use
out of it before needing to wash or clean it.
