Hi Tina,
More information than you want to know about my water containers...

I have one of those collapsible water containers but I am not too crazy about
them. I found that the plastic is a little thin to inspire confidence - I don't
think that it would take much to start a bad leak and it seems to me that the 50
lbs when full is a great strain where the handle meets the thin plastic.

It was also hard to pour when full because of the lack of rigidity. For example
- Filling a bucket. Lift the spout over the bucket. Open the spout and tip -
well the darn thing will not tip. Let it dribble the bucket full.

I one I have holds about 5 gallons, is square when filled, clearish plastic
(similar to waterbed vinyl)with a red spout. I think that I bought it at Walmart
in the camping section. I currently use the 6 gallon rectangular green water
billy cans - also from Walmart. They seem to work okay - however one got a hole
the size of a pin head and you would not believe the mess - the entire tack
compartment in the trailer was awash.

I still keep the collapsible one (empty) in the truck for emergencies but I am
not sure that I would buy one if I didn't own it already.

I hope that this helps.
