easy boots

I have been using two front easy boots on my 4 year old and have been
very impressed. We live in Vermont and are having an "open" winter,
very little snow (can you believe that, Westerners?) Therefore the
roads are hard and icy. I saw Teddy's post re:easy boots and thought
to give it a try (thanks Teddy). Now, I wouldn't gallop along on
them, but they hold her for walking and trotting and she seems very
comfortable in them. She is barefoot all around by the way. I have
thought of putting boots on her hind feet to get more mileage. If
there was snow on the roads, I would have ridden her barefoot, but
now I just might keep the easy boots on should we ever get snow.
There were some great posts a few months back on how to put them on
and get them off, all of which has helped me. I do not use vet wrap
or foam and have had no problems.
