Hi Candy, Was delighted to hear from a fellow rider at Eminence. There are
alot
of folks from your area that camp with me there, and also go to Illinois in the
Shawnee National Forest.
Your ride to Arizona sounds great. I am planning a ride there around the
15th of
March. It will be south of Phoenix somewhere. They take about 100 or so people
and I can't wait. Where are you going?
If you come down on 71 HWY through Kansas City and south to Carthage, I have
a nice barn with an arena you can rest overnight or whatever. I have some
hookups also for your trailer if you need them.
I have an aluminum living-quarter 4-STAR trailer for sale if you know anyone
who might be interested. I have two, actually, and need to sell one of them.
They have all the neat things, like sink,frig,camode,shower etc. I sold several
of them in Eminence. I park right across from the showers. Let me know
about your ride, would love to know where it is.
Happy trails, and let me know if I can help out. I have pulled alone since my
husband died in 1983, so know how you feel. It gets spooky sometimes, and it is
nice to have a friend along the way.
