I think we are missing the point here, it should be dressage go's
hand in hand with endurance riding. Not one against the other. With out
one (proper training in the begainning) one is not going to make it
down the trail.
Most people do not ralize that they are riding some form of
dressage when they are asking their horses to move away from a tree or
to slow down by useing thier bodies.
The slow training they they put on in the fall, winter (how to bend
around a tree, collect up over a log in the trail, listen to your legs
on their side to get past something) is all dressage training in it's
simplest form.
