ss

For those asking about my modifications to the SS I got last year. It came
with the
stirrups moved back and a raised pommel. I cut the flaps off that cover the
top of the
stirrup "leathers", and threw out the covers (too bulky). I can ride a 50
without half chaps but more than that and the buckle starts to rub.

I rode with the felt girth, then ordered a neoprene one which worked until
it got
hot, about June, and Tink started getting some filling and sensitivity from it.
I ordered a fleece one made for the SS from Teddy and it works great + the heart
monitor sticks now.

For those just getting your first SS, for me it was not love at first post.
It took me a couple weeks to like it. Now I'm trying to sell my 2 leather
saddles so I can get another one. You have to adjust it to suit you. PS
Tink gets mad when I ride her in anything else. She LOVES it.

Now I think we have all heard enough about the money controversey, have all
had a chance to make the necessary calls, and form our own opinions. Do what
you feel you need to make your point and lets get on with the usually excellent
exchange of information found on these pages.

Happy Holidays to all

Sandy, and the NJ crew. Impy, Tink, Taz, and Ma-gee.
