Oil/both?

My information came from Dr. Eleanor Kellon (DVM) who feeds Q10 in safflower
oil and says she gets good benefit from it in her Standardbreds. I've heard
from anotehr racehorse guy in Texas who feeds Q10 the day before a race and
likes the results--big doses, though, and the stuff is expensive.

Tom, or the rest of you folks, perhaps you can help me remember
a source for this. Several years ago when I was looking into
reasons for tying up, I remember reading some report that said
if you have a horse prone to tying up, you should avoid corn oil
and feed salad or veg. oil instead. Does this ring a bell with
anyone, or Tom, do you know any reasons to avoid corn oil (with
horses that tie up?)
