Yes, this can be very discouraging...unfortunately there are politics at
play.

Any time anyone offers something new and thinks they are saving the world, so
to speak, they think it will be well-received. II have found that in these
situations, to be at all realistic, one must be prepared to get
opposition....AND to accept it gracefully, but firmly if their beliefs are
well-founded and good principles are involved. Just as in an election, it is
in the best interest of the candidate to convince as many people as possible
that his oer her views are the best for all concerned. As we all know, we
are lucky to get a majority in agreement.

Remember the old saying: You can please some of the people some of the time
and all of the people some of the time, but never all of the people all of
the time.

I, for one, don't vote for candidates that slam others in order to get their
ideas and points across. You can catch more flies with honey..and, so far,
there has not been enough honey to even get my interest.
