id be the latter....

when i bought my mare dottie about 2 1/2 years ago, i bought her 1) because
she was simply AWESOME and 2) i figured i wanted a horse that, if i wanted
to, i could take to the worlds paint show. well...the more i thought..and
the more i thought...i came to the conclusion that i did NOT want to go back
into showing....that was why i didnt even get ON a horse for ten years after
i lost my AHSA junior status.

its taken me all this time to figure out what dot and i want to do. were
happy training for CTR and/or endurance. like ive said...well never be
great...but we dont care. im out to bond with my horse and have FUN! if
this sport moves towards the money-competitiveness that i think i might go
towards.....im getting out of this game too.

mary and one smart poky dot
