I will NEVER knock a sponsor. I have been asked too many times to mention to
donate to rides and most of the time I do. Many times I hardly get a "thank
you", but I know the rider and management appreciate it. I am small potatoes
compared to Nutramax.

My concern, and that of many others, is the image it promotes not only from a
standpoint of what "pharmaceutical companies" respresent, but from the view
that money prizes have just about ruined every other equine sport to the
extent that they are no longer fun...no longer for the glory of personal
accomplishment..but another means to make a buck with something you used to
enjoy and now have the pressure (and ego) of winning.

By staying a "grass-roots" sport, we retain our integrity...something that
seems to be dwindling more and more.
