Due to the heavy rain last week, the state park road leading
to Coit Camp is not SAFELY passable for horse trailers.
: - (
It has been a mutual agreement between the ride manager and
the state park ranger to cancel the ride to avoid any
potential hazards.
However, after further discussion they are confident that we
will have a better campground next year (more easily
accessible and larger camp area) and will definitely have
this ride in 1997, probably about October 1. : -)
The ride manager will be contacting those who have already
entered or have signed up for the ride.
