<< t seems to me with my horses that their "natural" breakover is slightly to
the outside of the foot - just a little off center. Or at least this is how
their shoes wear. Is this typical with the rest of you?
This is normal.

 >Also, in the 11 years I have owned my arab mare she has never been without
shoes. I have never had a lameness problem with her; I have never had any
problems with her feet - hoof condition, soles, heels - she's always had
great feet. I hear so much about letting your horse go barefoot. Why
would I want to do that when I've had such good luck by not allowing my
 horses to go barefoot?
You have a superb shoer. What is his/her name and will he/her shoe racehorses
in your area?
>My other two I have kept shod 365 days a year - one
for four years, the other two and a half years, again, no problems with
either of them as well. If it ain't broke, don't fix it? Comments?
