I like to walk but there are times in Florida rides when you can't - you
can but it is extremely difficult because of the deep sand. It is no fun
for either you or your horse. The Far Out Forest in the Ocala National
Forest is a prime example.

My wife's Arab tries to walk as fast as my walker (5 - 6 mph). He can't so
he has to trot up to her. But in the last year his walk has really
imporved and he really walks out now. In fact he can out walk some walking
horses.
