Diane - thanks - this info is more valuable
than what you originally posted. I'm still
curious as to the circumstances of the tree
breaks - did the people just notice they
were broken?

Yes, I know of these discussions, but each
person said that their horses didn't seem
to mind the perceived change. As I said,
mine is the newer fleece bottom (although one
could still order the nylon bottom when I
got mine). It fits my witherless wide backed
TWH.

The word report wasn't a good choice on my
part, I was just surprised as normally people
are pretty vocal about their saddles on this
list. I know you are compiling a database,
but I enjoy/prefer hearing specifics from
people who are using the different saddles,
and we do have a lot of dialogue. that, of
course, is up to the individual person
posting....

Just one more comment, I think you've done
a terrific job trying to sort out all the
info about saddles! But perhaps the keeper
of the database should not make a negative
comment/conclusion based on a few reports -
just reporting the specifics would be more
helpful.

Thanks, I know you go out of your way to
put this together for the list. (Although
I will always prefer open dialogue among
members of the list).
