No doubt 4 WD will come in handy at times, but in 6 years, I have had to
be pulled out 3 times. I have been pretty lucky, but have also gone into
some hairy places to ride. My dually does an ok job of pulling out, but
I have seen some trucks that get stuck on wet grass, so I guess it
depends a lot on where you go to condition, your truck, and your driving
style. I know plenty of people who can get stuck in very little mud with
4 WD!! I drive in mud a whole lot, but like I said, I have been lucky.
In looking for a new truck, I have considered 4 WD, but the cost is not
worth the effect to me.
Now, after having said that, I will probably get stuck on the way home
today!!:-) Thanks Tina--maybe I can call you to get me out?
