No need to repeat my self about the trailers but I did want to make a
comment about "Supplies" at Vet checks. I really don't think management
should be expected to provide hay and feed at checks. I believe there
should be a minimum of grass to graze on and a supply of horse water
either in a pond a creek or in a hauled in tank. Also people water is
provide. Any ride that provides snacks for riders and hay for horses is
really a special ride.
Management should provide competitors with a way to get their
"stuff" to all vet checks, we usually say," whatever you want to take put
in such and such truck" and your things would be at the vet check waiting
for you.
We had a favorite ride here in Mo. where we were
fed like kings all weekend, It was good old home cooking and boy did we
eat. I went to the ride just to eat. Sadly this ride is no more, and I
really don't know why. (Whetstone ride in Nov.)
