The CEDAR CREEK (NATRC) Ctr will be held on July 6&7 in the Mark Twain
National Forest near Columbia, Missouri.
The trails are old road beds, single track trails through the woods and
plenty of rolling pastures. A small amount of gravel road with good
shoulders will be traveled.
The trail is easy for frirst time competitors and beautiful enough to
keep the experienced riders enthralled.
There are plenty of good water crossings, with running water, no stagnent
ponds here!
The timing will be commensurate with the heat and humidity. We will
allow enough time for riders to spend time cooling in the streams. The
last two years we have been lucky, with cool overcast days.
We are not full as of this time -- 60 Rider limit. If you are interested
in starting to do NATRC Ctr's this is a great ride!
We are also looking for Volunteers to assist the management team, P&R
people and spotters are most welcome. We do on the job training, plus
Volunteers are fed the whole weekend.
Our judges are Linda Mckinnon (vet) from Malibu, California, and
Margarite Sloan (horsemanship) from Leavenworth, Kansas. Both good to ride
under.
E-mail me directly for ride entries and to get directions to the ride
site (if you are wanting to Volunteer). I hope to see some of you there.
