Ray make an outstanding point here. That scar tissue will, as far as I've
seen, always continue to produce those white hairs where the saddle
hasn't fit properly. Granted saddles are expensive, but in the long run,
in terms of a healthy horse, a proper fitting saddle is about the
cheapest insurance one can buy.
