Ah yesssssss, saddles saddles. I've said it all here before and have
bored many of you in the past. The saddle to buy is the one that fits
your horse. I use a John DiPetra. Not the world's best made saddle, but
it will fit your horse perfectly. It's made for him. Truman pointed out
things change and the saddle fit will eventually vary. Indeed it will.
That's why you get a saddle in daily use restuffed, at the minimum, of
once a year. Restuffed to fit the horse. If the horse has a sore back he
won't perform well. I don't care how if it's a cutback orthoflex,
skyhorse or whatever. It will compact and it needs maintanance. You
wouldn't drive your tow vehicle for a year without an oil change. The
DiPetra gets refleeced.

My dressage saddle gets restuffed between 6 months to 12 months of use,
dependant on how much wear and tear.
