There is no AERC rule prohibiting the administration of any drug to a horse
after the post-ride veterinary exam of an endurance ride (unless you are
showing for best condition, in which case you have to wait until after
the BC evaluation).

I personally, don't use aspirin on myself or bute on my horse, but I have
been known to use Mineral Ice on both of us (more on myslef as I am a bit
arthritic in the knees).
