I live in Wyoming and board at one of the only 2 places in town to board.
There is a young girl who has 3 horses 2 of them being Arabs. One of her
Arabs just turned 2 and she is having it broke to ride by a trainer at the
barn. This trainer had asked me why my 3 year old wasn't broke and I had
told him you can't break Arabs till they were 3 he told me that was horse
pucky that they are no different than any other breed of horse. Well that
seems to be the census at the barn. I had mentioned that there knees don't
fuse together till they are 3 and was told that is the same with all horses.
So I am hoping I can get some concrete evidence as to why you don't break
Arabs as early as say Quarter Horses. Mind you I am not talking ground work
I am talking getting on and riding. Any info will be appreciated.
