All my ride applications for AERC rides state that the horses must be shod
or wear easy boots. I have never heard of an endurance ride in my region
(West) allowing a horse to enter a race unshod. Has anybody else? I can't
imagine that AERC would allow a rider to not put shoes on their horse for an
endurance race - would they?
