Cash didn't want to do dressage which is what my friend Jaci wanted him
for. Her mother was the breeder and gave Jaci two geldings. So,
Jaci asked me to do some trail work with him and get him started on
endurance rides. Cash was afraid of deer. But he had a good attitude
for endurance. I didn't like him though. All angles, rough gait, and
flighty. I figure that even if I had liked him, he would never have
gotten so far with me. I have no desire to do the competing that
Valerie has done. She wanted to go far, and Cash has the talent to
do so with the *right* rider.

It takes the right *team* to be winners. I see people struggling with
horses that don't suit them, great horses, great riders, but no team.
Why bother? If you get a horse that clicks with you, stick with it.
And if after trying you find that the horse just isn't what you need
or want, find another, because there is some one out there that would
be perfect for that horse.
