I don't use a fleece seat saver on my saddle. Yes, the nylon/lycra tights
are slick, but I don't find that a problem. In fact, I'd rather not be
"stuck" to the saddle for two reasons: It's a little more difficult to
mount/dismount and find your seat, and I'd rather have the inevitable
movement caused by the horse's motion to be absorbed between my tights and my
saddle rather than me and the tights!
Yes, a pair of Carousel's in Tall would be a great gift for your 6-foot
friend. And she's lucky to have you as a friend!
