[endurance] Girths-Neoprene & Biothane

I have used a neoprene girth quite a bit. I never had my horse sore from it
and never any heat bumps, and certainly never any rub spots or galls.

However, I have found something EVEN better! At least it works for my
horse. I am now using a biothane cinch. It is absolutely wonderful! It is
a quick-cinch - in that it has it's own cinch strap which goes thru your
saddle d-ring and then buckles back onto itself. No more cinch straps
flapping around! It also does not gall or rub the horse in any way, does
not require any maintenance other than rinsing off in a bucket of water.
Best of all, my horse likes it - I can cinch him up while he is completely
untied and he won't take a step. He wouldn't stand that good for the
neoprene cinch.

I have another one on order for my second horse. They are only available in
black because I'm told that the biothane is only made that wide in black. I
love mine and wouldn't trade it for anything - and I have used every kind of
cinch out there.

Happy Trails!!
