Triple Crown is putting out a rice bran product. My husband, not knowing to
ask if there was an alternative (there probably wasn't at this store) was
kind enough to get it to try.
It resembles wet sand but it soft, not gritty, and looks like it could be
fed WITHOUT water added. Also, horses have eaten every bit of itin there
feed. It smells pretty good. It's about 12% protein and 20% fat, Ca/P is
off a bit- 1 : 1.7, so i wouldn't ever feed it solely anyeay, and no oter
nutrient really to speak of, but if it gives them a coat and some weight, I
will gladly give it a cup at a time!
