That's too bad those things happened. I guess I've been lucky so far - all
the rides I've been on, the riders are MORE than helpful and friendly, and
polite. This includes taking turns drinking and waiting in line, etc. The
riders I've been around always call out "on your left" when they pass
(right, whatever). They also put their hands up if they are in front of you
and are going to slow down. I think they were more than friendly when I was
doing 25's.

The only problem (or things that bothered me) was not having enough vets and
having to wait over an hour after my finish time- that's an hour after my
hour; (when I wasn't near the first finishers - they had to wait much
longer). I'm sure from time to time things don't always work out the way
they are supposed to.

I just wanted to say that I have yet to meet any endurance riders that
weren't helpful and willing to stop and help anybody that needed it on the
trail, even riders that were/are in the top 10 position. I've even had the
50 milers wait in line with the 25ers and they didn't seem to mind. Then
when (finally!!) it was my turn in a 50 miler to wait for the 25 milers I
didn't mind. :)
