Has anyone tried any of the synthetic shoes mentioned in a TB article
by Nancy Loving a couple of issues back. Slypners, Sneakers,
Nail-Shu, and there were a couple of others. I'd be interested to
know if there are real advantages to these over the regular steel
shoe. I know it's hard to generalize on products designed to deal
with specific problems. Does the poly covered aluminum really stand
up under lots of miles?
