I carry a snug pack on my saddle with the following: two bottles water, one
with a human electrolyte compound; an easy boot, a hoof pick, and extra
rein snap and maybe a few treats for the horse. I wear a belt wiht a knif
and a compass attached. I carry my card and the trial map in a card
carrier on the saddle.
