I've looked over all the local grocery stores and can't find any Lemon-Ice
gatoride. Any suggestions on where I might be able to find it? Does
anybody think Price-Costco might have it? I was able to find watermellon
flavor, though I had to buy it pre-mixed in a bottle (I prefer to buy the
powder form and mix it myself - does the Lemon-Ice flavor come in powder
form?).
Speaking of lathering - my horse tends to lather in the winter time when I
ride him on an unseasonably warm day and he has his heavy winter coat. If I
ride him when it's cooler he just sweats clear.
Does anybody have any suggestions on how to speed up the shedding process?
Last year I used the grooming blocks, they are a lot of work but seemed to
pull out a lot of hair. Does putting a blanket on a horse when the weather
warms up really work to speed shedding? The grey horse is shedding a whole
lot more than the chestnut horse (just an observation - being that I come to
work covered in grey hairs every day). What about when I go do my first
ride (April 6th- hopefully) - should I shave strips on my horses neck - or
anywhere else on his body - to help him with the cooling process?
