I've ridden a Big Horn endurance saddle (the leather/cordura) for eight years
and used it on different horses. It works every time and never sored any
backs. I did recently take it to be relined ($140) but it was just normal
wear from being used alot.

One friend tried a Big Horn on her horse and it didn't work very well. Her
horse has high withers and a narrow back. I think the tree was too wide for
him. So there are horses it won't fit.

The weight for the leather/cordura is 14 or 18 pounds and the all leather
version is a bit more.

The stirrups that come with the saddle are terrible. I've been using Flex
Ride stirrups.

Besides how it works on the horses, it's a VERY comfortable saddle for me,
too.

Price on the leather/cordura was $365 when I bought it, not sure what it is
now. I'm looking at the all leather version now and it's $500 - 700,
depending on where you buy it.

Check it out.
